Who here knew that Verdejo could transcend the little wine -category to become a genuinely fun and interesting wine? And why wasn't I told?Menade Rueda Verdejo 2012

Citric, mineral, vividly fruity but in a refreshing kind of way. Good grip and better acidity than in most other Verdejos I've had which makes this very moreish and which, for me at least, raises this to another level of interest for this grape. Duracell bunny finish.
I don't drink wine because of religious reasons ... only for other reasons.
