2010 Pax Grenache/Mourvedre/Syrah The Vicar - USA, California, North Coast (8/6/2014)
Much better showing than my first bottle back in April. A few months of settling down have made this much more inviting. There's lots of berry/cherry fruit on the front end, and the alcohol is integrated (where it really stuck out back in April). I don't get much in terms of any herbal/earthy elements, so it's a bit one note, but it's a good drink. Would like to see more Mourvedre & Syrah influence. Right now it drinks like straight Grenache, which is not my favorite new world grape.
