b"sd
id like to send you bottle of wine.
nice, which wine you ask,and you proceed to google reviews,or you invite me to dinner and I proceed to check out the particulars. How about a little trust,c'mon you think Iwould take you to a sub par level place?
Or maybe im too excited and full of anticipation. perhaps we sometimes need to examine that gauge.
have a good one; H

Nice one, Harry.
2007 Joseph Swan Trenton Estate syrah; one of my last two bottles from this winery and, as usual, an excellent wine even at this age.

And happy Fathers' Day to all you fathers who are still with this forum.

It's getting hot here, so I'm starting to look more often at chilled rosè, with a strong preference for dry, clean styles that Southern France seems to do well.

Frédéric Brouca 2016 “de Facto” Rosé de Schiste Faugères Rosé ($15.99)

Pretty salmon color, bright and clear. Appealing, subtle scent of strawberries with a back note of fresh, green herbs. Bright and tart on the palate, strawberries and cranberries shaped by zippy acidity that makes this an excellent food wine if a bit tart for sipping alone. A hint of stony minerality joins a crisp, citric snap in the long finish. 100% old vine Mourvèdre, direct pressed, aged six months on fine lees. unfiltered. 13.2% alcohol.
U.S. importer: Vintner Select, Mason, Ohio. (June 18, 2017)
