WTN: Un, Deux, Trois...

2015 Division Winemaking Company Pinot Noir Quatre Bjornson Vineyard - USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley (11/3/2017)
This comes from my second club shipment with Division, and yet again I am heartily impressed. The elegance and balance are what make the biggest impression. The fruit is clear and pure. There are gentle spice and earth accents that while delicious now, feel like the beginning of a beautiful future. Too bad I only had one bottle.

That's the problem with club shipments. Yet, with club shipments, sometimes you find something you didn't expect, on the good side.

I am probably about ready to ditch the club format and be a regular buyer of specific bottlings from Division. It was a great way to get a feel for the winery.

I have heard good things about their Gamay.

Nice. Thanks for the note.

Have you had the cab franc?

We barrel sampled a bunch of stuff in February. Should be some fun stuff coming up.

It sounds a little like Clos Roche Blanche.
