Very excited to get my hands on these.

2017 Cruse Wine Company Valdiguié Pétillant Naturel Deming Calistoga
Others' notes prepared me for the flavor of this wine, but not the stunningly creamy texture. While not lacking a bit in quantity or persistence of the bubbles, they lay on your tongue like cashmere. Exceptional on every level. THANK YOU WST!!!!

2017 Cruse Wine Company St. Laurent Pétillant Naturel Ricci Vineyard Carneros
Peaches and orange peel. Tasty but fleshy--more fruit than acid--and lacks the fine petillance and nerve of the valdiguie, so much so that I wonder if this isn't a slightly flawed bottle.

Mr. Bueker?

I have not had his petillant bottles. All my experience with his sparkling wines is Ultramarine.

Both got very good reviews on CT and no one but me seemed to have thought the bubbles on the St. Laurent were problematic, so maybe I did have a slightly off bottle. One way to find out!

Haven't had the Ultramarine yet, but thanks to Warren I do own one each. Can't wait to try.
