Tried this wine w/ Susan Sat night:
1. Weingut StadtKrems GrunerVeltliner Ried Weinzierlberg DAC: Kremstal (12.5%; www.WeingutStadtKrems.At; www.WineBow.com) Krems 2016: No pop of screwtop, small bubbles on meniscus that dissapate rapidly/dissolved CO2 (?); quite fragrant/floral/GV light spicy/white pepper very attractive nose; slight spritz up front, fairly tart/tangy attractive GV/spicy/floral/carnations slightly off-dry (0.5%-0.7% r.s.?) quite pretty flavor; long lightly tart/tangy fairly strong GV/spicy/floral/carnations/white flowers light spicy/white pepper finish; clearly some dissolved CO2 but very little impact on the palate; a quite pretty/attractive GV but just that, nothing profound. $26.00 (AV)

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. At SFW&CF last week, I met Stefanie Lobner, director of Premium Estates of Austria in Wien. She has a lot of the heavy hitters in her portfolio. This is one of her wines. They are imported by WineBow. Quite a charming lady and very/very knowledgeable.
