2016 Massican Colli Orientali del Friuli Gaspare - Italy, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Colli Orientali del Friuli (7/7/2019)
Stunning bottle of wine that combines the palate richness of Chardonnay with the bright fruit tones of Friulano and Ribolla. It’s so much more expressive than in the past. It’s an explosion of flavor, and a fascinating expression of Californian winemaking and Italian grapes.

My last bottle, and I wish I had a dozen more.

Interesting situation. I presume he goes there to make the wine?
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov

Yes. He has a partnership with some folks in Italy. It’s not just fly over a few times to watch things bubble.
