2004 J. J. Christoffel Urziger Wurzgarten Riesling Kabinett (Mosel)
#002 05 $19 8.5% abv, synthetic cork.
Beautifully deep flavors of ripe white fruit and slate with a mid palate that really filled over 2 hours of enjoyment. Subtle sweetness and plenty of acidity makes this wine particularly mouth-watering. It’s a pity that this is under synth-cork as it has great structure for aging.

edit...corrected some spelling errors.

Yes, yes...it really is a tasty one that's for sure.

Screwcap! Cool. 2005's are looking pretty good all over the globe. This can't be good for the wallet.

Took some advice from you Bill, am buying the recent vintages of Mosel.
In fact took a couple of German wines with me when doing my bird counts in S Alberta/ Montana. Most of my associates drank everything before I got a look-in. I had a nice Villa Maria Gewurtz that was superb, plus a couple of Verdelhos.
