SWR: OldFarts On WLDG

by TomHill » Mon Aug 18, 2008 2:28 pm

And that would, of course, be SteveEdmunds. Turns 61 tomorrow (Tues, Aug 19). Wow....that's a big number. He'll be meeting friends for lunch at BayWolf tomorrow. I hope they have handicap access so's Steve can get his walker up into the restaurant.
Wines will be DeRose OldVine Viognier '06 and a high-end NewMexico Mourvedre/Syrah/Counoise blend...plus whatever Steve manages to dig up....maybe one of those "low brow Cotes du Rhones"???
If you reply to in this thread...be kind. Steve's a sensitive guy and deserves to be treated w/ the respect & reverence that old folks are entitled to.

No matter how old I get, I have the consolation that Steve will always be slightly older.

Happy birthday, old fellow.

Tom; I really enjoyed seeing you and Susan today. 61 is a big number, but if you stand on your head, it looks a lot like 19!
