Linda,
I'm so glad you made it to Mo'Cool. I enjoyed getting to know you and having the chance to ask questions about winemaking and Stone Wolf Vineyards and seeing Michael the Great win eight! Maybe we will meet again at another Mo'Cool.

NJ and I spent a couple of hours with Linda last month during our Oregon trip. We sipped through a number of the 2007 PN Barrels and they all were very good ====> outstanding. The Farmer Road (?) and Arthur Vineyards fell into the latter category.

Yes Winger, the 2007 pinot gris from Linda ia KILLER. I will get at least a case of it when it is cooler and the wine is ready. The wines that Linda poured at the Sat picnic were killer too, and I will have to get a few of those too....WAY better than any Ken Wright I have ever had.

I agree with almost all (I reserve judgement on my tweener brother's comments just as a matter of principle) of the comments posted so far. MoCool was great as usual. The organizers deserve kudos for all their hard work, especially since Alan's assistant chefs cancelled out at the last minute.

As memorable as the wines were the MoCool people are even better. It was fun to meet James Roscoe, Linda, and all the new people. However, getting to see the old friends, especially the organizers and honorary Noland brothers was the best!

Some of my favorite wines were the Gevrey-Chamberins that Guido brought to Joel's party, Linda's pinot vertical, the 1999 JJ Prum riesling on Friday afternoon, a 1985 bordeaux whose dregs filled my wine glass with a wonderful fragrance early in the afternoon, Howie's 1975 Lafite, and a Gigondas from Joel's cellar on Friday night.

MoCool is always the best party and wines of the year for me. And staying at one of those beautful cabins at the lake made it even nicer this year.

This was the seventh MoCool for the Noland brothers. This Noland brother will keep coming until the organizers decide they have had enough of me and kick me out  .

Bob, I love that shirt! Thanks for the kind words but I do think your status has been elevated from the "Honorary" designation :)

Am I missing something but where are the photos that are usually posted after the event?

Yeah, Bob, I was wondering the same thong.
I suspect that many participants were a bit too tipsy to focus a camera. Just a suspicion.
