A lot of information can be found here at the C-14 Radiocarbon Web-info pages. It seems that for dates between 0 and 1000 years the result is rounded to the nearest 10 years. If this is the case then it could tell you if the wine was grown in a particular decade. The "Bomb carbon" effect and other considerations such as the industrial effect of burning large amounts of fossil fuel are taken into account.
