I balance mine with a bottle of Burgundy and a bottle of Gigondas for every two hundred bottles of Bordeaux. Burgundy for hens and the Gigondas for summer picnics.

My idea of a balanced cellar is making sure I have an equal proportion of Chardonnay to Pinot grapes between all the bottles. :lol:

Seeing that they work so magically together, I wouldn't want one grape to think I'm playing favorites with the other. Yet depending on the style or age, my sweetheart and I do have a particular weakness for blanc de blancs, so I'd be lying if I said there aren't a few more blondes around here than brunettes...;)

Oh yes. Good point. Assuming such grapes are even disclosed as being part of the blend then yes, they are all equally covered too. I hope...:)
