Giacosa is a great producer and I love his wines but they are much more expensive than even most Napa cabs. David is right, Corison is under a 100, especially their reg release.

Indeed, and I wouldn't buy new vintages. But I'm willing to spend up for mature bottles.

As I've got a much lower price-point than most of you, I've been having a good time with the larger producers. Bought Columbia Crest H3, and have enjoyed it as an every-day glass or two. Bogle's Essential Red, a blend of (whatever makes it taste good that particular year) is also pleasant. Wish I could indulge in some of the bottles you are talking about, but... . Fortunately, something not-so-great is pretty good, too.
