I also relate to that, though to a more minor degree since I've cut way back in recent years owing to Bob's health. I love wine shopping. Can't resist that weird wine from that weird place or that other one that everyone's raving about. I always want to KNOW.

Precisely, Jenise. I've cut way back on my purchases, too. Mostly I just buy Champagne these days. Part of this reflects our changing lifestyle: Jean drinks less wine and mostly wants lighter reds and whites when she does, and I've got hundreds of reds aging in the cellar which will need drinking over the next 10-20 years, after which who knows if I'll even still be drinking wine?

However, the collecting bug doesn't cease just because your rational mind says "enough."
