Baumard 1996 Savennieres - Mature, appealing, hazelnuts and almonds, beeswax and wool, still good white fruit.

Zardetto Prosecco - Frothy, crisp, refreshing, near-dry. Excellent aperitif.

Chehalem 2003 Willamette Valley Reserve Pinot Gris - Crisp, light white fruit, a touch of oak. Pleasant, a bit short.

Chateau Grand Traverse 2005 Old Mission Peninsula Edelzwicker - Pale gold. Lovely, subtle floral notes. Crisp and fresh, just off-dry.

Nice with a little report, Robin. But I miss the promised vidoe broadcast. It seems that it was never realized(?) Would have been nice.

Have fun and send my greetings to the others, if you see this in time for that.
Cheers, Anders

Hi, Anders! Your name was invoked many times today in "wish he was here" comments, and thanks to the Divins Ms. Julia, we pronounced it correctly, more or less: Ahn-dersh. Or something like that. ;)

I have a picture of JB, which I'll upload soon, with my random notes on some wines tasted during the afternoon.
