I just thought this was an eloquent essay that would certainly resonate with the vast majority of you old-worldy wine "snobs"

here. The gentleman is discussing the appeal-and the problem-with gobby hedonistic, structureless California cult wines today. I thought it was a balanced and amusing essay:
