2004 Willi Schaefer Graacher Domprobst Riesling Spätlese #9 - Germany, Mosel Saar Ruwer, Mosel (10/6/2007)
Opened with zero regard for food pairing, as it's hot out, and I wanted something refreshing.

This has great acidic cut (too much for Laura), and lots of peach, apple and lime zest fruit. The balance is great for me, and the finish is nearly endless. It has the poise and grace of classic spatlese, but more richness than should be allowed in one bottle. Fantastic wine that will age effortlessly on its balance.
