With an ossobuco and a risotto alla milanese...
Decanted 3 hours prior to serving. First tasted upon decanting -- face slap of tannin. This is tightly wound. There is some fruit peeking through. At dinner -- perfect with the ossobuco. Nice cedar cherry undertones, tannins smoothed out noticeably. Slightly spicy (anise?) in the finish. Very, very good.

Michael
Thanks for this. We walked past the winery a few weeks ago, but will be returning to the area in the not too distant future and quite possible we'll make our way there.
regards
Ian
