I'm looking for a dessert wine that will pair well with a butter cookie flavored with anise and coated with sesame seeds.
I'm in a rural area with access to decent liquor stores but no fantastic wine seller so it should be something easy to find. Less than $10 a bottle would be good as well.
Mail order won't work, I'd like to have it tomorrow.
Thanks, Lynn

Not a wine, but the anise flavor made me think of Amari bitters from Italy.
And probably easier to find affordable yet good quality examples.
Because at under $10 for dessert wine you're asking for a Magical Solution. (And cheap LBV port or PX/Sweet Sherry is not going to be a great match with those cookies)
