Washington Wines and Wineries: The Essential Guide, by Paul Gregutt.

Very highly recommended.

I second that recommendation.

My wife gave me a copy of this book as a gift, and I thumbed through the winery descriptions/ratings section, looking for his comments on some of my favorite WA wineries. I then started reading the book from the front cover.

The growth of the WA wine industry has been explosive. In the 10 years we have lived in this state, the number of wineries grew from fewer than 150 to over 500. Although unable to discuss all of this rapidly growing number, he provides a well-balanced discussion of the established leading wineries, along with many of the specialists and newer up-and-coming wineries.

If you have any interest in WA wines, I'm sure you would enjoy reading this book.
