Medium dark golden yellow in the glass.
A very rich nose of lychee, honey and tangerine.
Moderate weight, quite a bit of grapefruit rind bitterness, honeyed, floral-perfumed, almost dense, but the bitter edge becomes quite annoying after a few glasses.
Very bitter grapefruit rind on the finish and drying.
This is the first time I have tried this wine and while I am glad to have had the opportunity, I can't honestly say that I enjoyed it. The intense bitterness just become too wearing and tiring.
