Back in September 2007 I wrote this:
I opened a 1997 Freemark Abbey (Napa) Cabernet Sauvignon with some grilled cow last evening. Not a great showing, drinkable, but the fruit is fading and a hole in the mid-palate. I doubt this will get better...I have one btl left and plan on drinking that before year-end.

Well we drank our last (thankfully) bottle of this last evening and can report that this bottle was even further along on the downhill slope. Drink 'em if you got 'em and don't expect much.
