When is it going to stop! Is the government going to require the farmers who grow broccoli to label them with the entire beneficial and not-so beneficial natural occurring chemical compounds that scientist are now discovering in a head of broccoli. We might as well add a warning about man-made insecticides and (even for so-called “organically” grown veggies) the possible presence of “natural” insecticides produced by the plant itself. (Some of these so called “natural” insecticides in high dosage are known to cause cancer in small rodents). Why stop here- Serving suggestion- to get the most benefits from broccoli eat it raw.
