I'm sure you all know how Connect Logistics is, but maybe you didn't know they have a website which has a nice search feature so you can see if a wine is in Alberta. It's also nice to know who the agent or importer is if you want to contact them to discuss anything.

Bryan, I am indeed aware of their site. I've also heard that Connect Logistics finally resolved the distribution problems that plagued them about a year ago. That was frustrating for many retailers (and customers) here in Edmonton.

The AGLC site also has a liquor licensee search function. You can find Alberta restaurants licensed for BYO. I would still recommend calling first to check. Even if they do have a BYO licence, the restaurant might not use it.
