1995 Beaulieu Vineyard, Tapestry (Napa)
Unspecified percentages of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petite Verdot.
The tannins are fully resolved and the wine is starting to show its age. Light bodied. Very soft/feminine style that went well with grilled cow, but it is time to drink 'em up boys and girls.

I have not had this wine in years but I have been impressed with how the 1995's in general have held up. I opened my last bottle of the 1995 Estate Trefethen a few days ago and it was as you note a lighter, more femine wine but one with nice acidity and great balance. This bottle was my house red many years ago and I think I got it as something like $15 a bottle. While it was nothing spectacular it was much better than any of the 1996's I have opened up recently that were released to high scores and even higher prices but really don't seem to stand the test of time.

I've got one bottle of this left, and it's standing upright in the drinking queue. Sounds like that's a good place for it.
