2005 Radio-Coteau Pinot Noir Alberigi - USA, California, Sonoma County, Russian River Valley (2/27/2008)
Very nice aromatics right out of the gate. Interesting and unique. Sweet toasty oak. Cherries and bits of forest. The nose continued to be persistent for 2 days. Very ripe. Berry flavors running through it. Nothing off. Through the middle it was a little too much for me. Time should even that out considering the tannin and acid. The finish is certainly ripe and sweet. Balanced but this would not be for everyone. Good tannic structure. Needs some time. I will not revisit for at least 5 years. Still prefer the Savoy (haven't tried to 05) ... well I wish Eric got more Anderson Valley fruit.

Peace,

Jason
