WTN: Creekside Estate Laura's Blend White 2006

by Bruce Hayes » Sat Apr 05, 2008 7:34 pm

VQA Niagara Peninsula

A real "kitchen sink" blend of: Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pino Gris, Viognier, Riesling and Muscat from both barrel and stainless steel ferments.

Spicy, creamy with oak on the nose.

Apple, pear, lemon, grapefruit, peach, orange and lime (not all together, but in different sips and at different stages of the bottle), spicy, very tangy and mouthwatering, peppery, medium weight, crisp and yet creamy, refreshing, quite complex, with intense flavours.

A long, mouthwatering, tangy and peppery finish.

A real fun wine.

Purchased at $17.95 (Canadian).
