Can anyone provide me with insights on this wine?

Was at the LCBO this morning and saw some Ripasso Valpolicella on sale for $12. I figure a Ripasso for that price can't be too bad, so I bought a couple of bottles. I looked here, but don't see any notes.

It is the 2005 Ripasso Valpolicelle Classico Superiore from Cantina Valpolicella Negrar. Can anyone tell me anything about this?

New one on me, Bruce. I hope you can get some specifics, but failing that, for the style and the vintage and the price, I would have made exactly the same decision you did.
