Nice dark purple color. Savory, licorice, black currant, splash of bell pepper on the nose (but just a little bit...this is not a "green" wine). Very very "juicy" wine. Extremely fresh, juicy, slurpable character. Yet, not one dimensional in any way. 92 points and "only" $28. :) Terroir Wine Bar in San Francisco.

2004? Clos Saron blend. Sierra Foothills. Monolithic nose...can't describe it bhut maybe shoe polish. Quite ripe in character. I thought this wine was one dimensional and not very interesting. Dagon thinks i's just too young. They do all the "right" things vis a vis organic/biodynamic production, and the alcohol is under 14%, but I just didn't like it very much. Anyone else have any experience with these wines? 84 points.
