Bought on release and well stored, this was very, very young. But I just couldn't wait. It's showing some development. The color is light to medium gold and the palate has opened up and spread out a bit, showing mostly tropical fruits and some slate, with a nice spicy note on the finish. The aromatics were pretty subdued, but they began to deepen towards the end of the bottle. I've only got a couple more, and, ideally, I'd say hands off for another five or so given how young it showed.
