From Margaret River, Western Australia. Very dark, young color despite 5 years of age. Bittersweet chocolate, coffee and a suggestion of berries. Lively and fairly high acidity. Medium bodied. Tannins are soft enough to make the wine approachable. Quite dry, almost Bordeaux like but is betrayed by a strong, oaky vanilla/coconut finish. Good length if you like oak. If you're looking for something less overt, this won't work for you.

Not too impressive by itself but should probably show better with food so the acidity has something to go up against.
Three be the things I shall never attain:
Envy, content, and sufficient champagne.
