Book: Billionaire's Vinegar???

by TomHill » Tue May 20, 2008 3:00 pm

Saw this weekend in Border's a new book "Billionaire's Vinegar" and just ordered it from Amazon. It's about the ThJeff btls, Koch, Rodenstock, and all the fraud going on behind the scenes.
Anybody read this book yet. Hope to heck it's a whole lot better than the last book (Feiring's) I done read.

Tom,

I plan on getting to both of these soon, just have to finish The Wine Trials - which is pretty short.

After having read the first chapter of Wallace's Billionaire's Vinegar online I'm really looking forward to it - Wallace writes very well. Not too sure about Feiring's book - I think the subtitle sucked me in - expecting it to be bit of an ego trip.

Yup....her book's a tough slog. I don't argue her message (the world needs more "authentic" wines that have something unique to say), but she says it in such a preachy/screechy tone and is on such an ego trip that it's nor a very good read.

Saw the author of Billionaire's Vinegar on television (C-Span or CNN?) being interviewed but only caught a few seconds of the interview.
