Vinexpo day 2: Assorted short notes from the floor

Lustau East India Solera - Very nutty and easy.

Lustau Medium Golden La Plaza Vieja Amontillado - Very complex.

Churchill's LBV 2001 - Lots of fruit. Spicy, dry finish. Very good.

Clos Figueras Priorat 2005 - Tobacco, very dry, tannic. Lots of ruit. Very good.

Oremus 5 puttonyos 2000 - Very rich with good acidity for balance. Burnt sugar, marmalade and honey. Excellent.

Clos de los Siete 2006 - Sweet and tannic. Not too interesting.

I also got to try some Vina Tondonia wines from Rioja. Very old fashioned. The younger wines were good but I just don't get the old, oxidized styles.
Three be the things I shall never attain:
Envy, content, and sufficient champagne.
