I am sure this has been asked before, and I have found some very useful info using the search engine, but didn't find exactly what I am looking for. If someone would be kind enough to link me to a prior thread, or help me in this one, it will be much appreciated.
In the long run, I am planning on building a temp and moisture controlled wine cellar in my basement. However, that will probably happen in our next house. In the meantime, I need a racking solution that will allow me to store my wine in my present basement. I would like to find attractive well made wooden wine racks which I can use now, and I can move to the temp controlled cellar of my future. I prefer single bottle racks.
What woods, suppliers etc. would you recommend? Any other thoughts (besides the obvious lack of moisture and temperature control of this short term approach)?
Thanks
G
