Dark red in the glass.

Smoky, earthy, with rich cherry fruit on the nose.

Moderate weight, quite rich, almost soft and creamy in the mouth, juicy black cherry fruit, very smoky, a nice bitter bite, turning quite earthy toward the end.

A not-unplesant bitter, mouthwatering finish.

A very enjoyable, rich wine.

I cannot recall how much I paid for this, but I think it was around $14 (Canadian).
