Sunday Chat Today!

by Cynthia Wenslow » Sun Jun 08, 2008 10:44 am

How has your weekend been? Did you check out your local Farmers' Market? Take a tour of a new winery in your area? Go upscale camping with only the finest wines and foods? Stay home, turn the phone off, and just relax with loved ones?

Whatever your weekend experiences were, come share them with people who get it at the regular WLDG Sunday Chat!

The fun gets started at 4 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time; 3 p.m. Central Daylight Time; 2 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time; 1 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time; 8 p.m. GMT; 9 p.m. in the UK; 10 p.m. in France, Germany, and Sweden; 11 p.m. in Helsinki; 6 a.m. Standard Time Monday in Sydney and environs; and 8 a.m. Standard Time Monday in New Zealand.

Right Click to Enter --> WLDG Chat Room

Pour a glass of something good and pull up a chair. We'd love to see you! :D

I will not be able to make it this week. We had a weekend of tornadoes and terrible flooding so I will be helping neighbors with the clean up efforts. Thank goodness the power is back on so I do not have to drink warm beer while helping out.

Dave,
Where are you? There has been bad weather all over, although I hear Indiana has been hardest hit. We in the DC area are still cleaning up from a storm on Wednesday night that kept me from chat. Our basement has flooded twice. My wife is out getting a new pump as we speak. It has now settled into hazy, hot, and humid. I wish you and your neighbors well.
Cheers!
James

I woulda been here, but we were making our way back from a diamond-hunting weekend (we didn't find any) in Arkansas. At chat time, I think we were on an unnamed dirt road somewhere near Lake Greeson, after Gail said "wonder where that road goes", I said "let's find out", and we went to see. Got so far out in the boonies that I had no cell service at all, and came out at the neatest primitive campground by the edge of the lake, and miles from pavement. :)

Alas, Cynthia probably will not be back from an appointment in time to join us for Chat today, but we'll keep the light on for her. Meanwhile, we'll resurrect her Chat announcement from last week as a reminder that it's going on today as usual at the regular time. Hope to see you there!

Emerson, Lake & Palmer plus King Crimson covers. Emphasis on cuts from Love Beach and Lizard.

I haven't yet gotten the Java to my new Linux (yay!), so I won't be joining today. Till next week...

We missed you Cyn, hope you're well and everything's going well towards your special day?

But Anders ... with no CP or JB...... well, I've never seen a bloke with the wind, well and truly, taken from his sails. At one time I thought I sighted a little tear forming in an Anders eye, another instant a little whimper that, for a fleeting second, I thought may have been a lonely cry ..... but Anders, the true Viking he is, battled on regardless. You women just don't realise the power and influence you have over some people ........
Cheers,

David
