WTN: Some roses from the last two weekends

2007 Chateau Penin Bordeaux Rose: Syrupy, thick and way too sweet; yuck. Bad bottle perhaps?

2007 Raffault Chinon: Light crispy and delicate, very refreshing. Delicious

2007 Commanderie de Peyrassol. Light and delightful, I prefer the Raffault but this one is just as good.

2007 Touraine, Clos de la Roche Blanche. More serious with real depth; very good and structured. Could go with any food.

I could go on and say one is more strawberries and another more raspberries, but that really doesn't explain much as far as I'm concerned. I'd rather mention that I like the Raffault for simple grilled food and pizzas or even on its own, while the CdRB is a more serious effort and could go with a variety of foods, including spicier fare.

The CRB is the Pineau d'Aunis? Have some waiting for me at CSW, sounds like I'm going to be happy.
I love Bordeaux, I love rosé, I never love the combination.
I liked the Raffault, too.
Thanks for notes

I enjoyed a Raffault Chinon Rose in past vintages. One of my favorites along with Bruno Clair Marsannay Rose which is from Pinot Noir grapes.
