WTN Domaine De La Cote De L'Ange CdP 2005

Very light in color, transparent. It looks like a delicate rouge.

Nose has a strong floral whiff followed by a pungent funky brettish blast of body. Very appealing and a refreshing and delicate Rhone nose that you have to like.

It may look like a lighter bodied Grenache but it has a reasonably strong/full palate that I find interesting considering the price point. I've spent more on CdP's that I find to be chubby, upfront but ultimately less dimensional. Considering the price of well known CdPs, this is a really nice QPR that should appeal to I think more traditional CdP drinkers.

Nice notes, Bryan. Do you remember what you paid for it?

Mike, this wine is $37 locally, which is pretty much the cheapest I'll ever see a CdP around here.
