Pratello.
100 per cent Trebiano di Lugana.
Yellow, with green tinges, in the glass.
A fresh nose, lightly honyed, orange and floral notes.
As soon as it touches the tongue the wine gives off a little acidic jolt, making the tongue tingle, but that soon dissipates, revealing fleshy and juicy peach, apricot, lemon and apple, good acidity, very refreshing, peppery, lively and racy, with a bit more pronounced bitter lemon rind as the wine warms.
One of the most delicious and fun white wines I have had in quite some time. I loved the nervy acidity, almost as if a low level electrical current was running through the wine.
A mouthwatering finish, with some slight citrus bitterness.
