WTN: 1994 Branaire Ducru and La Louviere

Branaire Ducru - good colour, nicely perfumed mature nose, soft tannins, very tasty and absolutely ready to drink.

La Louviere - more fruit in the nose, and a tighter slightly harder wine that will continue to mature, but showing good structure.

So Branaire is its usual precocious self - coming to maturity before other wines. I'm not too shocked.

Thanks for the notes.

Bill, thanks for tasting and posting. Like David said, not much of a surprise. The '95 Branaire is actually drinking extremely well right now too, if you have any.
