James, I mean the berries, not the girl ...

If you're in the San Francisco Bay Area and prefer to "unwine" one day, then you might want to head over to Mt. Diablo. There are many different kinds of landscapes, flora and fauna. You can also get good and lost and have to have your girlfriend's son pick you up 10 miles from where you really wanted to be. Next time, I'm bringing a trail map.

Here are some nice rocks which kind of look like a weathered Sphinx ...

Gary, how many trails are there, and do they range through all exertion levels?

There are oodles and boodles of trails with something for everyone from easy to strenuous. Here's a link to the Mt. Diablo Interpretive Association's Hiking Trails of Mt. Diablo. It shows all the trails and classifies them. By the time you get here, I should have a trail map, too.

Besides pollywogs, ground squirrels, deer, birds, and coyotes, we also stumbled across a herd of wild cow pie makers.

I see Gary has a picture of his other girlfriend up. Does Zari know? You two-timer!
Yes, and how many deaths will it take 'til he knows
That too many people have died?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind
The answer is blowin' in the wind.
