Well, that is certainly an understandable and valid excuse, Howie. Have fun and eat some for me!

I'll be out for a wine tasting and then dinner but with a bit of luck will be back in time to join in for a while. Looking forward to meeting some of the people I do not yet know.

The Lovin' Spoonful - jeeper creepers, it's amazing how many of the sixties rock groups are still going - but then Mick Jagger is still going isn't he, and he's just celebrated his 65th.

Whenever I hear something like this, I automatically think, "Aren't they dead?"

The answer usually turns out to be, "No, they're just living in Las Vegas (or Branson!)."

I think that was the longest chat session in my memory..... 4 hours! Howie, you might have been able to make it!

Great to make some new friends from Rogov's section, as well as hang out with some regulars and semi-regulars. (Not irregulars!)

By the time I got there, not only was the chicken BBQ all sold out, but the Beef on Weck was all gone. I had to settle for corn on the cob and nachos.
