WTN: 2005 Strub Niersteiner Brückchen Riesling Kabinett

2005 J & HA Strub Niersteiner Brückchen Riesling Kabinett - Germany, Rheinhessen (7/30/2008)
Continuing to develop, this wine has slimmed down a touch since last year & is now almost approaching spatlese masquerading as kabinett (which is pretty much all you can expect these days). Peach, hay and chalky lemons dominate the nose and palate. It's bright, balanced and slurpable. Screwcap & a great value to boot.

That pretty much sums up Strub for me. I haven't had this particular wine but it sure sounds good.

The '07 is great too. It's one of the few '07 kabinetts that really rocked my world.
