Had this tonite with venison steakes and it was great. Deep purple color with lots of plum/cassis on the nose and palate. This wine had plenty of tannins to go for another 10 yrs. but was very enjoyable now. I'd have probably consumed this wine much sooner but it was in my off-site cellar at a friends cellar much cooler and 40 miles away.
