They've been making this stuff forever down at Bogle and they've gotten pretty good at it. It weighs in at 13.0% alcohol and has a light straw color to it. Nose is light lemon oil and a little melon. In the mouth, it's crisp and dry, with that lemon and melon overlaying it. Finishes with that bright acidity and an appeal for you to take another sip. Very refreshing stuff. You won't trade your Savennieres in on it but it will compete with Muscadet, Rias Baixas stuff, and some lower end Gruner Veltliners for your summer drinking pleasure. At around $9/bottle, it's hard to pass up.
