WTN: 2005 Pride Vintner's Select Merlot

Wow...David Bueker drinking California Merlot...

It's too sweet fruity/oaky for my taste, though I should have expected that. I prefer the Pride Cabs. With a rare grilled steak it calms down somewhat, but never loses that candied edge. Drinkable but only just.
