2005 Thomas-Labaille Sancerre Rouge l’Authentique (Loire) Started a little disjointed but pretty quickly opened to become a tasty Loire pinot. There is little hint of green on the front end followed by some chewy mentholated fruit, an iron laced core, light dusty tannins, and well balanced acidity. Nothing fancy, nothing adulterated, everything pleasing.
