Sunday Chat Today!

by Cynthia Wenslow » Sun Aug 24, 2008 9:14 am

How has your weekend been? Did you spend the entire time running errands? Work on the house and yard? Hang out with friends and loved ones eating and drinking delicious things?

Whatever your weekend experiences were, come share them with people who get it at the regular WLDG Sunday Chat!

The fun gets started at 4 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time; 3 p.m. Central Daylight Time; 2 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time; 1 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time; 8 p.m. GMT; 9 p.m. in the UK; 10 p.m. in Italy, France, Germany, and Sweden; 11 p.m. in Finland and Israel; 6 a.m. Standard Time Monday in Sydney and environs; and 8 a.m. Standard Time Monday in New Zealand.

Right Click to Enter --> WLDG Chat Room

Pour a glass of something good and pull up a chair. We'd love to see you! :D

(I'm working, but will try to pop in for a short time.)

Gonna have to miss chat today, MIL was in a wreck this morning - got rear-ended by a kid not paying attention - and we're driving down to OKC to check on her. She said she wasn't hurt, but for peace of mind we're going anyway.

Hope all's well, Robert. Best wishes to all concerned.

Mil is ok with just a couple of bruises, but her GMC Jimmy is beat up pretty bad. Probably will be totaled. Wasn't her fault, she was stopped at a light and the young man hit her car hard enough to fire his airbags and knock her body panels out of whack up to the hood. I have pics that I'll post tonight.

I'm glad she wasn't seriously injured. Bummer about the vehicle, but better it than her!

Thanks for the update, Robert. Gail must be relieved!

Here is the damage to Gail's Mom's car. Apologies for the picture quality - Blackberries aren't up to Canon camera standards quite yet. Fortunately it was hit in the back and not up near the front of the car, or she might have really been hurt. Thanks for the kind thoughts.

Robert, I am glad everything is generally okay.

Sorry for missing chat Sunday. I was busy having a life.
Yes, and how many deaths will it take 'til he knows
That too many people have died?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind
The answer is blowin' in the wind.
