Mendoza
Trapiche
Very dark purple, almost black, in the glass.
Very smoky on the nose at first, later changing to herbs, berries and rich chocolate.
Smoky, fleshy blueberry and blackberry, good acidity, light to medium weight, moderate tannin, lightly perfumed, tobacco, menthol, intense and saturated, although I was surprised at how light bodied the wine was.
Tangy finish.
Purchased at $15.95 (Canadian).
