Thanks Brian, I hadn't seen that one before. Talking of Loire blogs, I was very happily surprised that Jim Budd has one, too: http://jimsloire.blogspot.com/ . I guess Budd isn't very well known on that side of the Atlantic, but in England he is known for his drinks investment fraud website, http://www.investdrinks.org .

Just as with Rhone wines (the opposite end of the style spectrum, I know), I find the wines of the Loire fascinating and screaming good deals! I still drink and love selected California wines (a lot of Cali wines), but...
